At the Bouchie Lake Country Store, we like to try to bring items in that set us apart from other retail stores.  We keep our ear to the ground on products that we feel will be of interest to others.  Many of the products we distribute through the store are tried and true because we used them also.  All of these products can be shipped.

NITE GUARD - the original predator light and protection
Heloise and Ted, owners of the Bouchie Lake Country Store, also own and operate Moose Meadows Farm.  Like may farms in the North Cariboo, predators are always a concern.  Heloise and Ted have a philosophy for protecting the domestic animals that live at the farm through deterrent methods.  Included in this is noise (music), lights, dogs, and... Nite Guard.    In the early 2000's, Moose Meadows Farm was experiencing high loss of ducks and chickens to owls.  After much searching, Heloise found Nite Guard online and ordered in 4.  These solar powered lights flash every night - through +35C, -35 C, sleet, snow, blaring sun, and downpours.  Every night they flash all night long.

Designed and manufactured by a pheasant farmer in Pennsylvania, Niteguard is reasonably priced and really does work.  Please note it is most efficient as part of an overall "Predator Deterrent" program.  Click here to view more information on Niteguard including a Video.
