The Bouchie Lake Country Store is an advocate of "local" and is based upon a philosophy of supporting our and providing services to the community-at-large. By doing so, the store has become a hub in the community by providing a venue for people to gather and meet.We are a proud supporter of the Bouchie Lake Country Club which is an activity supported under the Empowering Family Health Project. In 2017, the store provided space for the Bouchie Lake Community Food Garden which was constructed entirely by volunteers. The garden is portable as the garden beds are on pallet bases.
The store offers a "Lending Library" for residents to borrow and /or exchange books from. We have a good selection of resource books for people who are interested in reading and learning about gardening, animal care, veterinarian issues, horse training, and farming practices. Our resource books are not available for loan outside of the store.We also offer and /or host many meetings, workshops and events.
